I believe soft skills are an eternal subject. We know what they are. They have been written about in research and studies. They are a topic of any management degree. Jeffrey Pfeffer, listed in the top 25 management thinkers, wrote on his blog how “Businesses—indeed, all organizations—are first and foremost about relationships.”. No wonder why the signatories of the manifesto for Agile Software Development wrote “Individuals and interactions over processes and tools” as the first line of the manifesto. They also shared Pfeffer observation on how relationships are at the core of software development.
